I’m going to dedicate a workspace, for the web development consultant business.

I’ve registered at Companies House, and also business tax number. I’ve got the accounting software, and web + bookkeeping experience..

I’ve got the hosting package, and domain name. I’ve even got the Chromebook.

I could take some photos, upload them as media pictures. But, I’ll need to clear the space to be ‘presentable’!

I’m ready to rock the boat!

Website start-up comments!

WordPress is one of those organisations that allows the easy set-up of a website, at low cost. There are others, Blogger, etc.

You might want to start one, just pick a good domain name. Maybe, buy an upgraded hosting. Give your sie SEO exposure, by adding Social Media links to your site, Facebook, Twitter & so on. Upload some text and photos, or diagrams to explain your sites purpose. Add a little advertising that’s relevant. WordAds, Amazon Associates, that kind of thing. You might want to choose a .com domain ending, or .club, or .info there are plenty. Keep good business records, Paypal.com can be useful. Inform the tax office, maybe register as a Limited Company. Yes, the accounting gets difficult. A package like Xero can assist with bookkeeping/preparation of accounts. I’m growing to enjoy that side of it. Plus, having an accountant on-board can be a boon.

You do need to keep track of your website and 2-step verification is essential!

We had France, under Napoleom Boneparte. Trapsing across Europe. 100 years ago, Kaiser Wilhelm and the Axis Powers. Please, will Russia not try a similar game against Ukraine.

It gets messy. People die. The stakes are higher these days?

Well, hopefully, world peace? Santa Claus tries to bring a merry Christmas, and usually succeeds!
