The news was of reminiscing of the Great War . I often think what it really meant. One or two photos fr the war spring to mind. The picture a severed, rotting hand, caught on the barbed wire., The photo of gas attacked Tommies, blinded and having to steer away from water filled shell holes. Having to manoeuvre the duckboards, hands on shoulders of only one seeing person.
It was described as the war to end all wars. Perhaps, someone should’ve told Mr Putin. Though no one is omniscientt, that is exempt God?
